Membership Types
The association offers different membership types to accommodate a wide range of professionals and organizations committed to agricultural and rural development.

Eligibility
Ordinary Membership
Any Professional in Agriculture, practicing farmer, or Rural Development, or related disciplines, is eligible for ordinary membership, subject to the payment of prescribed fees and dues.
Life Membership
Any person eligible for ordinary membership who pays the prescribed fees is eligible for life membership.
Corporate Membership
Any organization, public or private, whose mandate and activities are in the areas of, or related to agricultural extension and advisory services provision in Ewu, Nigeria, is eligible for corporate membership, subject to the payment of prescribed fees as per the rules and bye-laws of the Association.
Honorary Membership
Any person who has achieved National or International recognition for their significant contributions in the field of Agriculture and Rural Development may be conferred with honorary membership of the PFA as a mark of respect, recognition, and honor.
Mode of Admission
Joining the Prime Farmers Association is a straightforward process.
Ordinary & Life Membership
Application for ordinary and life membership shall be submitted to the Secretary-General on the prescribed form along with Registration fee for the category of membership desired and required annual subscription. The Secretary-General shall, on receipt of the same, admit the applicant subject to the approval of the Executive Council.
Membership Confirmation
Each member having been registered by the Association will receive a membership certificate/ID Card indicating his membership category and registration number. In case of denial of membership by the Association, all monies paid by the applicant shall be refunded.
Honorary Membership
Honorary membership shall be conferred to an eligible persons by a resolution in a General Meeting after his/her name has been proposed by a member in good financial standing and seconded by another of the same status and subsequently endorsed by at least two-thirds (2/3) of the members present.

You can become a member by visiting our contact page and expressing your interest. We have several membership tiers available: Ordinary, Life, Corporate, and Honorary. Our team will guide you through the registration process and fee payment.
The fees vary by membership type. An Ordinary membership is ₦5,000 per year, and a Corporate membership is ₦100,000 per year. A Life membership is a one-time payment of ₦50,000. Honorary memberships are conferred by invitation only and do not have a fee.
We organize a variety of activities including monthly workshops on modern farming techniques, annual agricultural fairs, networking events, and training sessions on financial management and market access. We also facilitate bulk purchasing of supplies.
Members get access to a strong support network, discounts on workshops, access to shared resources and equipment, and a unified voice in policy advocacy. We also help members connect with markets to sell their produce at better prices.
Our main office and meeting point is located at KM 90 Benin Auchi road, Eko Ewu, Edo State. This central location serves as a hub for our community activities and resource distribution.
Yes! Businesses, researchers, and organizations involved in the agricultural value chain can join as Corporate members. Individuals who have made significant contributions to agriculture may also be invited as Honorary members.
